I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Big O is my favorite producer in the game right now. His ability to piece together instrumentals that boast authentic hip-hop vibes is unmatched. Recently, Big O decided to unite with Agu for Midnight Journey, a three-track project that features some very beautiful music.
The first word that came to my mind while I was listening to this EP is ‘pure.’ Every single instrumental on it boasts nurturing vibes that could make a car ride feel like a breeze. At the same time, the instrumentals knock hard enough to make a talented MC want to drop some bars over them. All in all, Midnight Journey is a body of work that I think further highlights how talented Big O and Agu are as beat-makers.
