Dave East Keeps It 100 In “How We Livin”

How We Livin

Dave East

The streets need a new Dave East album.

When it comes to famous rappers that can still go back to their hood anytime they want, Dave East is near the top of the list. Despite making cameos on major TV shows and working with the biggest names in music, he still finds ways to connect with the people around his way. Dave’s latest release, “How We Livin,” only confirms his gangsta.

“How We Livin” is probably my favorite Dave East release in about three years. The hard-hitting/string-driven beat combined with Dave’s consistent flows and street-certified/big boy lyrics makes for a concoction that is hella intriguing and gritty as f**k. My hope is that Dave stays exactly in this pocket for whatever major project he has up next.
