Monica Recruits Ty Dolla $ign For “Friends”

Friends

Monica (Ft. Ty Dolla $ign)

This is a very touching and authentic R&B track.

I was about 6 or 7 years old when I heard Monica sing for the first time. Since then, she has won tons of Grammys and has sold a bunch of records. It’s safe to say that Monica is one of the most successful R&B singers of all time. The good news is that she is still ticking. This past weekend, the Georgia singer decided to release “Friends” with Ty Dolla $ign.

Monica and Ty Dolla $ign are on the same exact page in “Friends.” Backed by gentle production that is full of guitar licks and tons of bass, the two R&B stars sing soulfully about blocking the outside noise while in a relationship. More than anything, this track is the definition of a duet.

Give “Friends” by Monica a shot below.
