I can’t keep up with all of this Uzi heat.
LIl Uzi Vert is prepping to release a brand new EP called Red and White. At this point, we’ve probably heard half of the project already. In the past five days, Uzi released three songs off the EP: “I KNOW,” “Space Cadet,” and “FLEX UP.” Below, I will talk about the latter.
Yesterday, I said that “I KNOW” gives me flashbacks to the music Uzi was making when he had a diamond in his head. “FLEX UP” reminds me of the music Uzi was making when he was rocking a caesar. In the song, over yet another bouncy beat, the Philly native hits us with zany melodic raps that showcase his love for stunting, pills, and violence. If I were to guess, this track was actually made a few years ago because Uzi sounds young and muscleless on it.
