I’m not going to lie, I missed the hell out of NAV.
Relationships matter, folks. NAV has some of the best in the industry right now. I feel like he can call on A-list trap rappers whenever he needs to. With that being said, today, NAV decided to release “NEVER SLEEP,” a track in which he goes back and forth with Travis Scott and Lil Baby.
“Never Sleep” goes harder than McNuggets that were left in the cold. For starters, the song features this alert-heavy trap beat that serves as the perfect platform for Travis Scott, Lil Baby, and NAV to talk their s**t. The good news is this: They do just that. In the trio’s verses, you will hear talk about legacy-building, tucked guns, and women being spoiled effortlessly. While I think Travis Scott is the star of the song, I love how everyone sounds like they are on the same pompous page.
Uh-huh, this is a hit.
