I enjoy the Sci-Fi feel that “archaic dreams” offers.

I have no doubt in my mind that Laius has a magical run in him. Not only does he have an amazing voice, but he also knows how to piece his words together both cinematically and magically. I’m not the only one that loves Laius. Recently, he was awarded the ‘Innovation Award’ in Brisbane/Meanjin’s QUBE Effect 2022. Laius is ready to make a big splash towards the end of the year with the release of his debut EP, lost in the throes of an archaic dream.” The lead single off the project is appropriately “archaic dream.”

“archaic dreams” is an absolutely captivating track. From the moment that you press play on it, you are greeted with atmospheric vibes, intoxicating vocals, and a blast of mesmerizing melodies. Lyrically, Laius tells a story of being “crippled by a fear of running out of time.” All in all, “archaic dreams” is an electropop/alt-pop masterpiece that does a great job of painting a vivid picture that should only be heard in 12k.
