“Super Freaky Girl” samples Rick James’ classic “Super Freak” beat. Over it, Nicki Minaj brings out her quirkiest deliveries and braggiest lyrics. In other words, she successfully rechannels her Harajuku Barbie sound from the early 2010s. While I can’t say that the song is great, I can say that it could be one that has a strong TikTok presence.
