Fun fact: Fabolous was on the remix to Amerie’s “One Thing” track from several years ago.
I’ve been hearing a lot of Fabolous tracks as of late. Does this mean that he is prepping to release a new album? Hmm… This past Friday, Fab released “Say Less” with French Montana. Earlier today, he dropped yet another single, “1Thing (Freestyle).”

“1Thing (Freestyle)” doesn’t sound like a freestyle; it sounds more like a complete track without an official hook. In the song, Fabolous speaks his mind about the bad-ass chicks that he tends to mess with, Donald Trump’s pardons, and his weak competition. As usual, the punchlines he hits us with are outstanding. Also, he flows very well over the uptempo/emotional beat that features Amerie’s famous vocals from “One Thing.”
Fabolous’ pen game is as strong as it’s ever been.
