Quavo & Takeoff

Are Quavo and Takeoff purposefully dropping singles at the same time Offset is? This is three weeks in a row now.

Quavo and Takeoff’s chemistry is better than I thought it was. These last couple of weeks, the two Migos rappers have been dropping heat. Like, “Unc and Phew” might go down as one of the best releases from this summer. Today, the duo decided to return to the music scene with “Big Stunna,” yet another track in which they talk about bossing up.

“Big Stunna” definitely has a Cash Money Records feel to it, so it makes all of the sense in the world that Birdman is featured on the track. Not only does the beat give me “Tha Block Is Hot” vibes, but you also get lyrical content that gritty bosses can relate to. While I think the hook is fire and both Quavo and Takeoff’s verses are tough, Birdman steals the show with his vintage-sounding verse.

Is “Big Stunna” better than “CODE?” Hmmm…
