Take Shots
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie
There’s nothing bottom shelf about this song.
The streets are saying that A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie returns to his old form in Me vs. Myself. Based on the first couple of singles I’ve heard from the album, I think that may be true. Today, Boogie decided to release “Take Shots,” a moody track that features smooth vocals from him and Tory Lanez.

In “Take Shots,” A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Tory Lanez talk about letting loose with the women that they adore. What’s cool about the song is that it features a very intoxicating sound. Not only will the gloomy beat have you in a trance, but A Boogie and Tory’s bi-polar approaches to the song rapping/singing-wise will remind you how liquor brings on inconsistent behavior. All in all, I can take several shots of “Take Shots.”
As I’ve gotten older, the more scared I am of hangovers.
