The seasoned actor, who has appeared on Black-ish, Space Jam: A New Legacy, and Shaft, not only has great confidence on the mic, but he is also growing as an artist by the day. After releasing the very successful “Been Thru It” a few months ago, Jalyn is back with a menacing new track called “When U See Me.”
In “When U See Me,” Jalyn Emil Hall lets us know how competitive, focused, quick-tempered, and up he is these days. I like that the song boasts this grungy, menacing beat Jalyn meets at the rim with turbulent flows and aggressive deliveries. I also like how he straddles the line between cocky and confident in the song.
