In “Letter To Takeoff,” Gucci Mane pays homage to not only Takeoff but also other fallen rappers such as XXXTENTACION, Young Dolph, PnB Rock, and Shawty Lo. What I love about the song is that it sounds completely raw. It features a numb Zaytoven beat and raps by Gucci that feel honest, blunt, and authentic. When it’s all said and done, you will feel this song in your heart.
