DDG is the first rapper to date a Mermaid. The Pontiac native is currently in a relationship with Halle Bailey, the lead actress in Disney’s remake of The Little Mermaid. In honor of his amazing girlfriend, DDG decided to release a new single called “In Love With A Mermaid.”

“In Love With A Mermaid” is a very heartwarming tune. In it, DDG relies on infectious melodic raps to let the world know that he’s doing everything he can to spoil, protect, and build a future with his lady. I think the song’s hook is flawless, the beat has a good knock to it, and the vibes are enjoyably smooth. All in all, this is a dope effort from DDG.
