You may be surprised to hear harp-infused beats, but Merlot has made them his signature sound in this tune. “Back to the Future” is captivating in a new way, simply because it has so much more to offer than just traditional instruments. Lyrics like “Ooh, ooh, she fell in love with the groove, smooth” and “Gucci her boots, I got that s*** on from Back to the Future, feeling super, I’m just saying you don’t go cool with me, I ain’t staying” are well-delivered with cosmic senses in the background. There’s absolutely no chance to avoid a more ethereal sound with this hit. Merlot and Emagine have literally created an “out of this world” single.
