Forget calling Central Cee a great drill rapper, I’m prepared to call him a great artist overall. Not only do I f**k with the way he mixes effervescent vibes with cold drill vibes in his music, but I also feel like he’s a master at saying the coolest s**t in his verses. Today, Central decided to return to the music scene with “Me & You,” a smooth and vulnerable drill banger.
In “Me & You,” Central Cee bigs up his woman for being photogenic, honest, and a down-ass chick. Even though the track features an R&B-driven drill beat and some of the politest lyrics I’ve ever heard, you still get aggressive deliveries out of the London rapper. Matter of fact, if you are someone who doesn’t understand English, you would think this song was a diss record based on his energy. All in all, I think “Me & You” is a heartwarming track that will make you appreciate Central Cee even more.
