T.I. & Kevin Gates Get “Active” In New Single

Active

T.I. (Ft. Kevin Gates)

At least someone from Louisiana respects T.I.’s paperwork.

In my humble opinion, there is no way in hell that you can question T.I.’s gangsta. I’ve seen him whip too many people’s asses and heard too many authentic street bangers from him. With that being said, I’m glad that one of the hardest street rappers in the game today, Kevin Gates, decided to work with TIP on his new single called “Active.”

“Active” is hard as hell. Throughout the song, which boasts this action-packed beat, Kevin Gates and T.I. rap about trapping, f**king with chicks that are loyal, whooping ass, and succeeding in the midst of adversity. While the former hits us with his signature beefy rap deliveries, the latter relies on big-ass words like commandeer and feverish flows to get his points across. I think both absolutely shine on the track.

Old rappers need to stop making songs that are longer than four minutes.
