Professor Green & K Koke Found “POP SHXT”

POP SHXT

Professor Green x K Koke

A hip-hop single you’ll want to hear on repeat.

London, England-born musical creative, Professor Green, is also known as Stephen Paul Manderson. Green is an English rapper, singer, and songwriter who got his start competing in a freestyle battle at a bar in Camden. He went on to win several other competitions. Eventually, Green was noticed by Mike Skinner during Brixton’s B-Boy Championships. After experiencing a series of highs and lows on his musical journey, the rapper became firmly established in the British music scene. Green’s impressive discography is available on Spotify, YouTube, and SoundCloud. For his latest drop, “POP SHXT,” Professor Green teamed up with UK rapper K Koke.

With its bass-heavy blend of beats, “POP SHXT” is unashamedly and unapologetically self-interested. However, that’s a good thing in this case. The artist admits that he’s not allowing anyone to walk over him as he lives his best life. Lyrics like “I can do whatever / But I’m never on some f*** sh** / I’ve been doing better / But I ain’t getting up for nonsense” and “Holy water is what I wash with / I’m really on my boss sh** / Laid back in a Maybach / I’m really on my Ross sh**” hear the artists drop hard-hitting bars back to back. The whole point is to leave us wanting to be just like the rappers. There’s no reason to allow the rest of the world to stomp over you. So, press play below to hear “POP SHXT.”
