I am super out of the loop, so forgive me for asking this: Who is Kim Petras? The joke is definitely on me because it says that she averages over 32 million streams on Spotify. Matter of fact, her “Unholy” single with Sam Smith has a whopping one billion views! Well, a wise man once told me that you’re only as good as your entré. With that being said, Kim looks to keep her momentum going with a new single called “Alone” with Nicki Minaj.

If you went to megaclubs during the early 2010s, “Alone” will give you PTSD. First and foremost, the song samples Alice Deejay’s famous club hit “Better Off Alone.” Secondly, it features very Katy Perry-Esque melodies from Kim Petras. Lastly, Nicki Minaj hits us with a hard-hitting rap verse that has her sounding like her old, “these b*tches are my sons” self. I think this song will go crazy in nightclubs worldwide, mainly because of its nostalgic feel.
