Ame Says Another “Lesson Learned”

Lesson Learned

Ame

A tale of heartbreak that revolves around wasting time on a toxic ex.

Musical creative, Ame, is a singer, songwriter, actor, and model who loves music above all. The singer’s unique “Latin R&B” style combines “sultry R&B sounds & Latin rhythms.” When it comes to songwriting, Ame takes inspiration from personal experiences creating music with the goal of connecting with listeners and helping those who have gone through similar experiences find new ways to heal. In addition to her musical career, the singer has also had roles on  Marvel’s Daredevil, the premiere episode of New Amsterdam, and has modeled for brands like Calvin Klein Jeans. One of her previous hits is the Latin hit, “Remember.” Her discography is available on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music. One of Ame’s recent releases is the Latin R&B single, “Lesson Learned.”

Melodic instrumentals don’t necessarily prove that this is a “Lesson Learned.” However, the song provides the perfect warm, tropical tones to make us learn without realizing it. Lyrics like “Lucky I’m not the old me / Man, I know your type of guy” and “I don’t wish you the worst / No, I don’t think that as friends it could ever work / You didn’t see my worth” get real about wasting time on a toxic partner. The guitar-laden blend of beats helps us recall that we are worth more than the stress of a problematic partner. There’s no reason to hold on to them, so there is no cause for feeling bad when you let go. So, press play below to realize that there is always a “Lesson Learned” about love.
