Dalby Takes Us to “prom!”

Dalby

A pop single about a teen’s big night.

Atlanta-based musical creative, Dalby, is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, artist, and activist who touches upon big moments in life. With plenty of passion for her work, the 16-year-old singer finds inspiration in artists like Harry Styles, Ed Shereen, and Taylor Swift. She released her first project, an independently produced album, when she was just 12 years old. Since then, the artist has created hundreds of new songs with no plans to stop anytime soon. She says, “I let my emotions out through my writing. As an activist, I also like to speak my thoughts, but it’s easier for me to sing about it.” Dalby’s discography is available on Spotify. Her latest drop is the pop single “prom!”

This is the song that would sound in the background of every movie taking place at “prom!.” It’s high in energy and angst, low in patience, and full of certainty that things will somehow work out. Lyrics like “Can’t wait for prom / I’m so excited / don’t give a s*** that I’m not invited” and “Can’t wait to make you feel the same way I did / I can’t wait for prom!” offers a tale about getting even with a girl who stole a prom date. At the same time, it is full of the promise to be the light of the party yourself. With its energetic pop-rock sense, this song will keep everyone on the edge of their seats. So, press play below and crank up the volume for “prom!”
