Lex Leosis Thinks You’re “TOO CLOSE”

Lex Leosis Got "TOO CLOSE"

TOO CLOSE

Lex Leosis

A song that will remind you of your dodgy ex.

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Lex Leosis is a hip-hop emcee. She began her career participating in various rap competitions and cyphers. Making connections with other creatives through online rap communities, she traveled to the U.S. to collaborate and perform music with them. From 2016-2019, Leosis was a part of the Canadian hip-hop group, The Sorority. The group went on to release a debut album and tour with artists like Miguel, Joey Badass & Snoop Dogg before disbanding in 2019. Since departing the group, Leosis spent time establishing a new sound and developing her artistry. With her newly formed team of creatives, she’s found a voice and an audience. One of her most recent popular posts is the hip-hop hit “Dangerous.” Her discography is available on Spotify, YouTube, and her own website. Lex Leosis’s latest drop is the fiery single “TOO CLOSE.” The song also has an accompanying music video.

Leosis is a total badass on the track with her clever lines and sick flow. Similar to her previous hit, she focuses on love; however, instead of finding it, she’s breaking it off this time. Leosis describes her past relationship filled with lies and deceit. Lyrics like “I’ve been working too hard to hear your shit” and “Better be lucky I don’t want pain from this night on” represent just how fed up she’s become from being in the relationship. Lucky for her, though, that person is now an ex, and Leosis blessed us with a fire song about their screw-ups. We’ve all had to deal with someone like this, but not all of us can make a banger about how we feel afterward. We’ll let her speak for those of us who can’t. So, stream Lex Leosis’s new single to find out who got “TOO CLOSE.”
