Sleepy Hallow & Lil Tjay

Quick reminder: Sleepy Hallow is facing some major time.

New York Drill music is in major trouble. Not because people aren’t feeling the genre, but because a lot of its main players are vanishing. With that being said, recently, Sleepy Hallow was charged with a 140-count indictment. Will he beat the case? I don’t know. What I can tell you is that he’s still releasing music. Today, Hallow returned to the music scene with a new single called “Pain Talk” with Lil Tjay.

I can see “Pain Talk” moving the needle for a bunch of people. The song boasts this guitar-driven drill beat that has a pop sample that will have you in your feelings. Over it, Sleepy Hallow and Lil Tjay hit us with bars that speak on their resiliency, readiness for smoke, and need for love. While the former uses a pretty grungy approach to get his messages across, the latter hits us with his signature melodic raps that are infectious as hell.

Go ahead and give “Pain Talk” by Sleepy Hallow and Lil Tjay a shot below.
