French Montana & Kodak Black Join Forces For “I Can’t Lie”

I Can’t Lie

French Montana (Ft. Kodak Black)

It’s kind of wild how many songs Kodak Black and French Montana have together.

The reason I think it’s wild is that I heard that Kodak Black growled at French Montana the first time they met each other. I mean, if a dude growls at me the first time I meet them, I would assume that we will never be friends. Luckily, since their first encounter, Kodak and French have linked up for two songs: “Mopstick” and “I Can’t Lie.” Below, I will talk about the latter.

“I Can’t Lie” is powered by a flute-heavy London On Da Track beat that will make a ratchet snake come out of a vase. Over it, we get a hypnotizing hook by Kodak Black, an insanely good verse by Kodak in which he switches his flow a few times and speaks on how he’s living today, and a pretty solid verse by French Montana in which he also switches his flow a few times and speaks on the things that motivate him. Though this isn’t the best collaboration between the two rappers, I do think it’s pretty good.

Give “I Can’t Lie” a shot below.
