City Girls Return With “I Need A Thug”

Lemme give y’all Ja Morant’s number.

As of late, City Girls have been getting cheese separately. While JT has been doing her fair share of guest appearances, Yung Miami has been linking up with Diddy (Both musically and romantically) and releasing new episodes of her podcast, Caresha Please. The duo’s last single, “Good Love” with Usher, came out last year. The good news is this: City Girls has returned to the music scene with a brand new single called “I Need A Thug.”

“I Need A Thug” samples LL Cool J’s classic 1987 single, “I Need Love.” In the song, both Yung Miami and JT hit us with unapologetic bars that let us know the kind of men they want to partner up with. As expected, they don’t want church boys; they want dudes who can put it down, spend money on them, and hit jump shots. While I wouldn’t say this is the greatest track of all time, it does showcase how City Girls’ style can fit over any beat.
