Doja Cat Seeks Our “Attention” WIth Her New Single

Attention

Doja Cat

When Doja Cat has a haircut like mines, she is undefeated.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I think Doja Cat is easily one of the most talented artists in the game today. She sings very well, raps hard, and has a swagger to her that is hard to ignore. I truly believe making hits comes easy for her. Though Doja doesn’t always showcase all of her skills together, in “Attention,” she does just that.

Let me get this out of the way immediately: “Attention” is f**king flames. In the song, which is powered by this dreamy and drum-heavy beat, Doja Cat uses hypnotizing vocals and sly raps to speak on the effects the public’s opinion has had on her. If you are a fan of hers, you have to love how confrontational and ready for smoke she sounds. You also have to be stoked that she hasn’t changed a single bit; she still sounds hungrier than an adult that decided to take their kids to Cici’s Pizza (Lord knows adults aren’t eating that s**tty pizza).

Doja Cat has won song of the year (I don’t even care what comes out after this song).
