Logic Toys With A New Sound In “Figure It Out”

Figure It Out

Logic

I like this version of Logic.

I’ve accused Logic of being corny; I’ve never accused him of being a bad rapper. As a matter of fact, I can see him washing your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper in a rap battle. With that being said, in his latest track, “Figure It Out,” Logic actually toys with alternative R&B vibes.

The music video attached to this song is cheesy, but everything else is solid. “Figure It Out” boasts excellent guitar play, an intoxicating drum pattern, sensual vibes, classic melodies, and soothing vocals. As for lyrically, Logic comes across as the ultimate playa in the song, letting his partner know the difference between needing something and wanting something. No kizzy, this s**t is impressive (So is Logic’s mustache).

This version of Logic is very likable.
