I know prematurely calling the latter iconic is risky, but trust me, when it comes to popularity, she has reached heights several others have yet to get to. Today, Nicki and Ice dropped their highly-anticipated collaboration track, “Barbie World.”

Everybody knows Aqua’s “Barbie Girl” track from 1997. It has made boys all over the world cringe for years. “Barbie World” flips “Barbie Girl” in the coolest way possible. In the song, Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice trade braggadocios, Barbie-inspired, and competitive raps over this drill-inspired “Barbie World” beat. What’s dope is that I think the two rappers equally shine. I like Nicki’s animation and Ice Spice’s slick deliveries.
If you mute your testosterone, you will realize this song is pretty hot.
