King Von Tells Yet Another Riveting Story In “Robberies”

King Von

King Von’s knack for storytelling was very impressive.

Before King Von’s untimely death, I predicted he would eventually become one of the biggest rappers in the game. One of the reasons I like Von’s music is because a lot of his songs tell vivid, raw, and action-packed stories. Yesterday, “Robberies,” a posthumous single from the Chicago rapper, hit streaming services. In it, you get one of his most intriguing stories to date.

“Robberies” is powered by this chilling instrumental by ATL Jacob. Over it, King Von talks about jacking people so he can pay his rent. He quickly realizes that doing that is more dangerous than he thought. As usual, you will enjoy how menacing and animated Von sounds throughout the track. You will also appreciate how vivid his lyrics are.
