Terrence Esquire Huggins hails from the greatest city in the world: Washington, DC. While his music has made an impact all over the globe (Believe it or not, he was nominated for a Latin Grammy), I love that he is tapped into the DMV’s huge talent pool. Recently, Terrence decided to work with fellow DMVer Mayo Angelo and Mary Poppin’ for the explosive “DUMB.”
In “DUMB,” Mary Poppin’ and Mayo Angelo go at each other’s necks worse than boxers. In the song, they manage to call each other liars, disloyal, unthankful, and remedial in two minutes. While I’m sure toxic relationships probably make you roll your eyes, the way this toxicness is packaged will keep you entertained. Not only does Terrence bless us with a booming, menacing hip-hop beat that will put your speakers to work, but we also get very dramatic rap deliveries and juicy lyrics out of Mary and Mayo. All in all, this s**t right here is like Love and Hip-Hop in the audio form!
