Flyest In The City
King Combs (Ft. Fabolous & A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie)
New York, stand the hell up until you get plantar fasciitis!
The new generation of rappers from New York is forging connections with the veterans of the city’s rap scene. Recently, an exciting collaboration emerged between Jadakiss and Lil Tjay on a track titled “Hole In My Heart.” Today, another notable release arrived in the form of King Combs’ latest single, “Flyest In The City,” featuring Fabolous and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. These collaborations bridge the gap between the young and the old, creating a dynamic musical landscape in New York.

I’m not trying to sound like a hater, but has King Combs ever made a song with an original beat? “Flyest In The City” samples the beat from that one song from the ’90s that everyone loves (I can’t remember what it’s called, but you’ll know what the f**k it is when you hear it). The good news is this: Everyone involved in the song shines. A Boogie Wit Tha Hoodie hits us with an infectious hook, King Combs hits us with slick-ass bars, and Fabolous hits us with a killer flow and punchlines that will go over your head like Zach Lavine. I am a happy camper.
King Combs isn’t even Diddy’s son; he’s Diddy’s clone.
