Jorja Smith Returns With “GO GO GO”

GO GO GO

Jorja Smith

This could very well be Jorja Smith’s most upbeat single to date.

Jorja Smith is undergoing a gradual yet definite transformation into a versatile artist. While passionate pieces marked her initial presence in the music world, this year has seen her release several singles that showcase her experimentation with uptempo and dance-oriented vibes. In fact, I’m completely enamored by her sleek dance track “Little Things.” Jorja Smith’s most recent single, “GO GO GO,” continues this electrifying evolution.

In “GO GO GO,” Jorja Smith discusses ending a relationship solely based on her own desire, not due to any fault on her partner’s part. I refer to it as the Kyrie Irving approach. Despite conveying a melancholic message, the song boasts an exhilarating sonic experience. Throughout the track, Jorja passionately sings against a backdrop of guitar-driven alternative rock beats, evoking a sound that might be expected from artists like Fefe Dobson. Rest assured, her vocals are absolutely stunning and add to the beauty of the composition.

Jorja Smith can do no wrong in my book.
