Alongside re-releasing some of his biggest mixtapes from the past, such as Stranger Than Fiction and THE LUCA BRASI STORY, Kevin has also dropped explosive singles like “I Don’t Apologize” and “Do It Again.” Today, the Louisiana rapper returned to the music scene with a new single called “Rumors.”
In “Rumors,” Kevin Gates addresses certain whispers about him that have been circulating over the past few years. As a matter of fact, he kicks off the track with a bold statement: “Find me two n**as. Find me the one who said he stuck his d*ck in me, and find me the one who says I told on him. You could blow my brains out.” Don’t worry; after this intriguing quote, you’ll be treated to nothing but hard-hitting bars that reflect Kevin’s street origins. I appreciate the ferocity in the Khaza rapper’s delivery throughout, especially paired with the menacing, booming beat.
