Face Down
City Girls
This is classic City Girls music.
Admit it: City Girls is your favorite duo of this century. Throughout the years, they’ve been a part of some very iconic hip-hop records, like “Act Up” and Drake’s “Nice For What.” They’ve also inspired raunchy rap acts like Sexyy Red, Sukihana, and more. Lastly, when their songs come on in clubs, s**t turns upside down. With that being said, this year, JT and Yung Miami have mainly been doing their own solo things. This morning the duo returned to the music scene for a new single called “Face Down.”
“Face Down” is on brand with the kind of music City Girls has been making for the past couple of years. The high-energy hit features an uptempo club beat that gives me flashbacks to the beat that powers “Act Up.” It also features some very spicy lyrics. In their verses, Yung Miami and JT talk about shaking asses, spilling strange wet substances on floors, and scamming dudes. This is another banger that I can see folks loving.
