“EMOJI” is off RONNY J’s new project, “Charged Up.”
At just 31 years old, RONNY J boasts one of the most impressive producer resumes in the industry. He has worked with artists such as Kanye West, Eminem, Machine Gun Kelly, Juice WRLD, Lil Pump, Denzel Curry, and more. Lately, RONNY has been showcasing his vocal talents, a shift evident in his latest album, Charged Up, where you can experience his singing prowess. One of the best songs from the project is “EMOJI” with XXXTENTACION.
In “EMOJI,” RONNY J and XXXTENTACION talk about turning out chicks that aren’t theirs. As expected, they get disrespectful in their verses, dismissing us loyal boyfriends throughout. Interestingly, the song’s tone doesn’t match RONNY and X’s toxic words. It features very passionate crooning and a dramatic instrumental that you can definitely play in the telly during a late-night rendezvous.
