Lil Uzi Vert Stunts In “NFL”

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Is Lil Uzi Vert going to perform at next year’s Super Bowl? That would be tight as hell.

A lot of people have mixed feelings about The Pink Tape. Some think Lil Uzi Vert experimented excessively on the album, which can sometimes be overdone. Fortunately, shortly after the project’s release, Uzi announced that he was working on another one, Luv is Rage 3, which he claimed would align more with the music fans want from him. On Friday, what appears to be the first single from the upcoming project, “NFL,” was released on YouTube.

“Yes, “NFL” embodies the certified Lil Uzi Vert style. In the song, which is driven by an edgy trap beat that gives off Yeat vibes, Lil Uzi Vert delivers lyrics focused on his Fendi belt, spiked sprite, and the rumors surrounding him being associated with Satan. Although I appreciate the carefree and relaxed style he maintains throughout, there are moments where he might come across as a bit too out of it. Oh well.

Give “NFL” by Lil Uzi Vert a listen below.
