Rating: 4 out of 5.

Do you jits know the significance of this remix?

It’s remarkable how some of the artists I grew up listening to are now celebrating significant anniversaries. Take Ne-Yo and Fabolous, for example, who have been in the music industry for over 20 years. While they both have numerous individual hits, their collaborative track “Make Me Better” remains one of their standout hits. Now, in 2023, they’ve joined forces again for a new single titled “Link Up [Remix].”

“Link Up [Remix]” has a distinct old-school vibe. To start, the track features a vintage R&B beat that harkens back to the 90s era. Over this backdrop, Ne-Yo showcases his smoothest vocals and captivating melodies as he sings about a passionate rendezvous he’s fully invested in. Fabolous, on the other hand, maintains his signature style, delivering clever punchlines that underscore his expertise in the art of attraction without being deceived. What stands out is how the song remains true to the respective styles of both artists, ensuring a satisfying experience for their fans.

Will Fabolous ever run out of punchlines?
