Pai Napple, Yungnbaby & Hurricane Wisdom Say You Can’t Come “Round Here”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

A hip-hop banger that is just as gritty as it is infectious.

If you’re on the hunt for promising new producers to spark your enthusiasm, Pai Napple is worth your attention. Since the beginning of 2022, he has consistently delivered one banger after another. While he displays versatility across various genres, Pai particularly stands out when immersing himself in the world of hip-hop. His most recent contribution is the outstanding hip-hop single “Round Here,” featuring Yungnbaby and Hurricane Wisdom.

In “Round Here,” Yungnbaby and Hurricane Wisdom take turns rapping about the challenges of the slums they emerged from, cautioning listeners that without a warrior mindset or a hustler mentality, you might find yourself overwhelmed. What immediately grabbed my attention about the song was its beat. Pai Napple crafted a composition that seamlessly blends elegant, jazzy elements with hard-hitting trap elements, providing a noteworthy backdrop. It’s essential not to overlook how Yungnbaby and Hurricane Wisdom effortlessly slid on the track. Their appealing melodies, coupled with an unapologetically gritty delivery, stand out. In essence, this track embodies a classic-sounding emotional trap anthem that shouldn’t be underestimated.

I’ve yet to hear a song called “Round Here” that isn’t tough as hell.
