Yung Paradise Shines In “Purpose”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

YungParadise is back like cooked crack.

YungParadise is an emerging rapper hailing from Melbourne, Australia, poised to make waves in the music scene. Why do I make such a claim? Because he consistently exudes a relentless hunger in his songs, delivering competitive and impactful lyrics. Notable among YungParadise’s successes are hits like “Empty Threats” and “HUGO BOSS.” His most recent single, the flashy “Purpose,” continues to showcase his talent and ambition.

This undeniably feels like YungParadise’s theme song. In “Purpose,” he delves into his Teflon-strong mentality, readiness for smoke, and determination to succeed. There are several aspects of the song that I find appealing. Firstly, the hard-hitting beat, reminiscent of “P.I.M.P,” is absolutely fire (props to ProdBySloth). Secondly, I appreciate the aggression in YungParadise’s delivery. That s**t gives me Contra vibes. Lastly, the clever use of the innocent “Welcome Back” sample at the song’s outset is extremely tough. YungParadise, you’re good with me!
