Rating: 3.5 out of 5.Whether you like it or not, Jack Harlow is an A-list rapper right now. He has several songs with over 500 million streams, and he’s being sought after for collaborations by other A-list musicians. Some might even argue that he’s the second most popular white rapper after Eminem.
Despite the positive trajectory of Jack Harlow’s career over the past three years, I find his discography to be a bit inconsistent. While That’s What They All Say is a pretty solid album, I wasn’t a big fan of Come Home The Kids Miss You. However, this year, Jack has delivered two solid offerings: the album Jackman and the hit single “Lovin On Me.” Today, he made a somewhat return to the music scene with “Drive Safe.”
“Drive Safe” proves Jack Harlow is one of the coolest bachelors in the game today. In the song, Jack slyly raps about a situationship he was once in that sparked conflicting feelings and its fair share of asshole moments. While I am unsure whether the song will end up on streaming services or an album (it kind of sounds like a throwaway track), given his popularity on Instagram, I think folks will still stream it heavily.
What would you do if you were Jack Harlow’s girlfriend and heard this track? Sue?
