Bryson Tiller Returns With “Lost Intro”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Bryson Tiller has always been one of my favorite R&B singers in the game. What I like about the Louisville, Kentucky native is that he likes to merge smooth R&B elements with hard-hitting hip-hop elements in his music. He did a lot of this In his 2015 debut, T R A P S O U L. While He has certainly dropped a myriad of classic records, Bryson has been pretty quiet the past three or so years.

My hope is that we’ll get a Bryson Tiller album this year. While it’s up in the air whether or not that will happen, what he did announce is that he plans on dropping a new single every Tuesday for the next couple of weeks. This series started with “Lost Intro.”

You know how I said Bryson Tiller knows how to merge smooth R&B vibes with hard-hitting rap vibes in the first paragraph? Well, in “Lost Intro,” he relies strictly on the latter. In the song, which boasts this smooth, soulful beat that has some knock to it, Bryson hits us with aggressive rap deliveries (That are exempt of melodies) to let the world know that he doesn’t give a f**k what a naysayer has to say. In my opinion, he sounds as confident as I’ve ever heard him sound.

Bryson Tiller should be a top 5 musician right now. Yes, I am one of his naysayers.
