Conway The Machine & Cool & Dre Combine For “Give & Give”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

NBA YoungBoy isn’t the only one releasing music at an astonishing rate; Conway The Machine is equally prolific. Towards the end of 2023, it felt like the Griselda rapper had a new project for us every other week. Even when he wasn’t dropping projects, he appeared on various tracks. Today, the Buffalo rapper returned to the music scene with a fresh single titled “Give & Give,” produced by Cool & Dre.

In “Give & Give,” Conway The Machine reflects on his opulent lifestyle, brags about his sharp rap skills, and envisions a promising future. He also delves into his competitive spirit, expressing love for dismantling rivals with lines such as “I’m the grim reaper of the rappers, and I’ve got more to torment, It’s more like torture, these aren’t just verses, I’m waterboardin'” and “It’s gory gory, my aura more of a horror story, The forty pourin’, I wet up their street, I’m Stormin’ Norman (Brrr).”

As you can tell by the lyrics I highlighted, Conway The Machine’s wordplay and punchlines in this song are f**king nuts. What makes s**t even more intriguing is that he drops his bars easily and comfortably.
In terms of the production, handled by Cool & Dre, it features poignant piano notes, soulful samples, and powerful percussion, resulting in a masterful backdrop.

Conway The Machine is one of the best rappers alive. How many of y’all know this?
