Saweetie Shows Out In “Immortal Freestyle”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Is anyone as marketable as Saweetie in the female rap lane? I’ve seen her on TV shows, in McDonald’s commercials, and in quality seats at San Francisco 49ers games. It’s clear that a large conglomerate thinks that she is the s**t. But does her rap skills match her clout? In “Immortal Freestyle,” she proves that it just might.

Saweetie goes off in “IMMORTAL FREESTYLE.” In her verses, she raps about breaking the internet, being way ahead of her competition, and sipping on immaculate mixed drinks. She also confirms she’s unkillable, sort of like Charleston White.

I believe the Bay Area sound complements Saweetie exceptionally well, and she fully embraces it in “IMMORTAL Freestyle.” The track features impactful Bay Area-styled production (One can argue that it’s also Detroit-styled) that inspires Saweetie to deliver assertive and confident raps. I think she needed a song like this to silence the naysayers just a bit.

Saweetie is badder than Nikki Haley’s comments about race in America.
