Megan Thee Stallion Goes Off In “HISS”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Now that Megan The Stallion’s case is over, she’s looking back at her receipts. Here’s the thing, though: I really don’t blame her. Over the past few years, she has endured vitriol from her peers, people online, and ex-friends. Frfr, the fact that she still wants to make music is applaud-worthy. Today, at around 12AM, Megan returned to the music scene with “HISS,” a fiery new single in which she addresses some of the people who had s**t to say about her.

In “HISS,” Megan The Stallion calls out the folks who are obsessed with her, one of her enemies who made R. Kelly viral (???), her ex who apparently can’t put it down like that, and the gangstas who are deep-down afraid to check her. She also proclaims herself to be Teflon in the courtroom. Interestingly, Megan says no names in the track…

94% of the reason you will enjoy “HISS” is because of the juicy lyrics that Megan Thee Stallion dishes out. Besides that, I think the song is OK. It features a simple, menacing beat and what I would call fast-paced flows that aren’t too hard to emulate. I do really like how aggressive Megan’s deliveries are (She sounds like an angry customer that a cashier should immediately call their manager for).

Megan The Stallion ain’t taking no chill pills.
