NBA YoungBoy Says “We shot him in his head huh”

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

NBA YoungBoy will probably never win a Grammy. Not because he isn’t talented or doesn’t produce enough music, but because it generally seems like he doesn’t care about making music that can be considered critically acclaimed. That said, while everyone was preparing to watch the Grammys last night, NBA dropped a new single with a title that suggests extreme violence: “We shot him in his head huh.”

In “We shot him in his head huh,” NBA YoungBoy talks about picking flowers and rescuing kids from burning buildings. No, I’m just kidding; he talks about some murderous s**t. In his verses, he raps about knocking heads off, pulling up on folks like he was shooting jump shots, and loving his gun so much that he wants to put a ring on it.

I’ve heard about 100 different NBA YoungBoy songs that sound like this. “We shot him in his head huh” features your typical bouncy, menacing southern beat, rabies-like rap deliveries, and a little singing here and there. The only slight difference is that there are a few more gun noises than your average YoungBoy song.

NBA YoungBoy loves to shoot more than Cam Thomas (SMH).
