Yung Miami Attacks Akademiks In “50/50 Freestyle”

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Is a City Girls Spring on the horizon? A few days back, JT released a fresh single titled “Sideways.” Now, Yung Miami is back with her latest track, “50/50 Freestyle.”

“50/50 Freestyle” showcases Yung Miami’s unapologetic attitude. In her verses, she doesn’t hold back, addressing Akademiks for instigating conflicts with women, criticizing her competition, and dismissing men who offer her anything less than top-tier treatment.

“50/50 Freestyle” aligns stylistically with other contemporary female rap releases from earlier today, like “Yeah Glo” and “Sunday Service.” First and foremost, the track features a powerful, Detroit-inspired beat that sets a menacing tone. While Yung Miami’s rap delivery may not stand out, her assertive attitude and confident lyrics demand attention.

Let me grab this popcorn and watch this female World War 2 go on.
