ScHoolboy Q Goes Off In “Yeern 101”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

In the past month, ScHoolBoy Q has released just as much music as he has in the past three years, and this is not an exaggeration but a verifiable fact. Just recently, the TDE artist surprised fans with two new singles: “Back n Love” and “Blueslides.” These releases serve as a prelude to his highly anticipated album, BLUELIPS, scheduled for release on March 1st. Today, ScHoolBoy returned with yet another single titled “Yeern 101.”

Whoever inspired ScHoolBoy Q to rap like the rent is due deserves a handshake from GOD. In “Yeern 101,” he unleashes a barrage of aggression and a relentless flow to challenge his competition, asserting that they lack both financial stability and a backbone. Q also flaunts his lavish lifestyle, mentioning his impressive chains, his recently acquired home, and his effortless ability to earn substantial sums even while asleep.

While ScHoolboy Q delivers an impressive performance in this song, the beat is equally striking. Boasting heavy bass, a frenetic tempo, and futuristic nuances, it creates an immersive experience that leaves a lasting impact. Credit goes to Cardo for the stellar production, which elevates the track to another level.
