Kodak Black Spits Peculiar Bars In “Shampoo”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Despite some recent unpredictable behavior, Kodak Black’s raw energy can still captivate listeners, especially when he finds his groove on a solid beat. In “Shampoo,” while there may be a few eccentric moments, Kodak truly shines as a rapper, showcasing his skills and reminding fans why they became fans in the first place.

First and foremost, let’s give credit where it’s due to the producer who crafted the infectious beat driving this track. It sets the perfect backdrop for Kodak Black to showcase his skills, effortlessly riding the rhythm with his flow.

Kodak Black’s lyrics in this song may not be groundbreaking by any means (unless you’re particularly moved by lines like “I was ‘cross town zootin’ with my dude Pookaduke” or “Drunk a lotta coffee and I gotta s**t again”), but what stands out is his carefree approach to storytelling. It’s not every day you hear someone rap about condiments, right?

Kodak Black really doesn’t give a s**t.
