Hope Vista Is Honest In “Worst For You”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

I always tell people this very important fact: The right artist can make music very therapeutic for you. Someone who does that for me is Hope Vista. Not only does she have this haunting voice that will eek through your soul, but she also tackles deep topics in ways that are relatable, honest, and vulnerable. Some of Hope’s biggest singles are “Hot Blood” and “Ya Want a Valium.” Her latest single is the soul-clenching “Worst For You.”

In “Worst For You,” Hope Vista delves into the remorse she experiences over entering a relationship bound to fail. She acknowledges that she had a sense of its inevitable demise and attributes its downfall to a series of immature decisions. What sets this track apart is its tranquil tone. Despite her regrets, the song is driven by serene production that strikes the right emotional chord. Hope’s vocals exude a sense of serenity rather than despair, suggesting she has made peace with her situation and is now advocating for a peaceful mindset. It’s a captivating listen.
