Bryson Tiller Drops “CALYPSO

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Make sure to mark your calendars for April because Bryson Tiller is set to release a self-titled project. There are a couple of reasons why this should get you excited. Firstly, the fact that he’s naming it after himself suggests he considers it a significant release. Secondly, judging by his recent releases, it seems like he’s returning to top form. In my opinion, “CALYPSO” stands out as one of his best singles in the last five years.

I’ve always admired Bryson Tiller’s ability to evoke emotions in his hip-hop tracks, but I feel he doesn’t get enough recognition for his talent in crafting danceable R&B tunes. “CALYPSO” perfectly exemplifies this. With its lively island-inspired production that will get everyone in the venue to shake their ass, Bryson blends passionate and smooth vocals as he sings about a girl he’s eyeing on the dance floor, hoping to take her home after a night of dancing. His enthusiasm shines through in every moment of the song.

Just based on tone and vibes, I feel like Bryson is back to being his old self.
