Weirdoe Drops Killer Bars In “DECOYS”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

If you aren’t hip to Weirdoe, get a hip replacement. This Northampton rapper is one of the best talents in the current hip-hop landscape. Renowned for his competitive, aggressive, and hard-hitting style, he has carved a distinct lane for himself. Oh yeah, he also switches between Aaron (his birth name) and his alter-ego, Weirdoe, which I think is dope. In his latest single, Weirdoe takes center stage, delivering bars that showcase his prowess while focusing on dominating the competition.

In “DECOYS,” Weirdoe seamlessly transitions between introspective moments and intense competitiveness. To be more specific, he delves into themes of personal growth and recognition from his friends, while also boasting about standing on his opponents’ graves and asserting his superiority over his peers. And, of course, he doesn’t forget to mention the conquests of his romantic pursuits (Can’t leave the broads out of the mix).

Weirdoe’s lyrics in this song are simply flawless. Every word feels perfectly placed, and I wouldn’t change anything about them. But that’s not the only aspect of perfection in this track. The dark, hard-hitting beat is absolutely captivating, and Weirdoe’s delivery, with its excellent flow and sharp punchlines, is truly phenomenal. This is undoubtedly a 5-star hip-hop track.
